2004           2003/2004	What happened to the logo contest? In all the time this contest has been open only about 4 people submitted logos. Some were a good start, but they never followed through with it. To help defer the costs of fiddlechicks, I'm thinking of offering t-shirts and merchandise. Wouldn't you like to have your design represented for fiddlechicks? As soon as a good vector-based graphic with a chick and fiddle theme is selected, the merchandise will follow. Submit to: ALASKA NEEDS FIDDLES: From Vicki Keele:"Some teachers, Mary & Jim Odden, for Iditarod School District are teaching kids how to play instruments, and most of the kids want to learn how to play the fiddle. The school district is having financial problems, like many in the State, and cannot provide all of the instruments that the kids need (and neither can the parents). Do you know where they might be able to obtain free or low cost fiddles for their students?
