Played classical violin in elementary/middle school, had to stop when I moved to a school without an orchestra. 13 years later, joined a rock band as a backup singer. Lead singer always wanted a violinist, so I borrowed an acoustic for a couple of weeks & fell in love all over again. Then I found a slightly used Jurgensmeyer electric violin for under $200 at a local music store and just couldn't walk away.
