I started with classical violen at the age of four my parents really wanted it for me, I wasn't sure what I wanted at the time. But before long, I grew to love the instrument like life itself. A day without playing became a day with out oxygen or food or water. I loved it so much, that when I was seven, my father enrolled my at the Blair school of music, which is in the Vanderbult University in Nashville Tennessee.
There, from my instructor, Crystal Plohman, I learned to fiddle. I learned the styles of bluegrass, Celtic, blues, as well as Gospel and ragtime.
This summer, my classical teacher, Andrea Thomas, has had me teach some of her classical students how to fiddle. And I have loved every minute of it. I am now proud to call myself a "fiddle chick" and unitl my dying day, I will stay that way.

"I play fiddle, and have since I was 5. I love my instument, and play it at least 2-3 hrs. a day. I preform many stage shows, sometimes 2-3 times a week, depending on the surcumstances. I use microphones and amps, and have a pick-up on my instrument. "
